From 17-19th November 2025, the DASS Team met at Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa for the first DASS Retreat.
This event provided an opportunity for all DASS members and affiliates to meet face to face to assess the project's progress, brainstorm new directions and develop ideas around new research challenges.
Also included as part of the programme was speaker Peter Henrys from UKCEH who gave a talk from an industry partner’s perspective. This gave us valuable insight into the problems industry are currently facing.
This event brought together both early career and established researchers working in the area, together with practitioners, enabling us to share their latest work and help foster new collaborations.
